With over 30 years of work experience, Eric has worked for both local and multi-national companies in specialised areas such as;

Corporate Globalisation Strategies, e-Commerce and e-Business implementation, Customer Service Management, New Product Development, New Product Launch & Commercialisation, IT and Manufacturing Integration, Telecommunication Infrastructure implementation & Middle-ware architecture development.

Beyond his corporate experience, Eric is a veteran in the field of higher education, with over 15 years of experience at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has taught in renowned universities at the local and global levels, and holds senior management positions at reputed private education institutions in Asia. Eric is a qualified Learning and Teaching instructor, well-versed in the areas of adult learning (critical friend protocol), curriculum development and digital andragogy & metagogy.

Eric holds a Doctorate degree from Universidad Católica de Murcia, Master in Education from James Cook University and Master in Information Technology Management from University of Wollongong respectively. He also has a Computer Engineering degree from Iowa State University and Postgraduate Certificate in Business Research Methods from Edinburgh Business School – Heriot Watt University. Eric is also a certified Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA) trainer and a holder of Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma.

Andrew Chiew is the Academic Dean and Quality Assurance and Compliance for Educare Global Academy. He also sits in the Academic Board and Examination Board for EGA. He has an MBA in International Business from University Putra Malaysia. He also upgrades himself with pedagogic training with Republic Polytechnic and graduated in the pioneer batch of the Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning and Teaching (SDALT).

He has 20 years extensive management and teaching experience in higher education in Singapore and Malaysia and has taught on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the Australian and UK Universities. His past corporate management experience included General Manager at TUM Asia (Affiliate with NTU and NUS). Professionally, he is the member of Marketing Institute of Singapore. His 20 years of professional experience in academic and operation have provided him with broad views that are useful in assisting with projects and assignments in the planning, operation, quality assurance and compliance and administrative division.

His expertise is diverse which includes business development, marketing research and Quality Assurance. He teaches finance and research modules for the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management programme.

Shoba is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Singapore University of Social Science; specializing in English with Psychology. Through this journey, she has deepened her knowledge into learning the English Language and at the same time touched on various components that is related to psychology.

Further to this credential, she has progressed further to attain various certificates such as Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) under Institute of Adult Learning WSQ and Certificate in Achievement in TEFL/TESOL (Gold) from International Accredited Teacher Training.

Through these various platforms, Shoba has grown beyond showing just classroom learning designs. She has developed emerging skills that are currently in demand and is believe to provide blended learning solutions as well. This will further aid in enhancing the employability of her students.  Currently, she is a full-time lecturer in Educare Global Academy and she teaches through all levels from Foundation to Advanced Diploma.

Joel is a teacher and a member of the Academic Board for Educare Global Academy. He is an MBA graduate from the University of Hull and B.Sc. (Hons) graduate from the Birmingham City University. He also has two graduate Diplomas in Marketing Management and Financial Management; as well as an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment. He has extensive working experience in China, South East Asia, and Taiwan. His teaching experiences cover many hospitality and management subjects at both Degree and Diploma level.

He fills all the intrinsic, ramps up the internal structures and the contents for major projects. With over 15 years in hospitality industry and over 14 years in Learning and Development across different genre of subject matters.

Norizan has “been there, done that” in the hospitality sector, in charge of head-hunting, recruitment, management and training/ development of talent for the luxury brand of hotels. Through his career, one of the milestones: at Fairmont Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia, establishment of a HR department, managing a staff strength of 3,000 employees.

He teaches relevant skillsets to others too. Norizan is a certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at institutes of higher learning (Hospitality and Business modules), and consults for clients in hospitality and customer service. His academic qualifications are backed by Executive MBA certification from Switzerland in International Marketing and Post Graduate certification in Higher Education from Cardiff Metropolitan University. In teaching and sharing knowledge with others, he qualifies himself with the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), as well as the Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning and Teaching (SDALT).

Ka Chong’s extensive experience in the wine and spirits industry gives students invaluable insights into the F&B, marketing and retail industry. Prior to his teaching career, Ka Chong was the group Manager to one of the most successful wine and spirits chains in Singapore. His experience in setting up and running a national retail chain gives students real world industry knowledge and examples. He honed his training experience during his industrial stint- training more than 50 staff in wine, sales and retail knowledge.

Currently, he is a lecturer for F&B and Marketing subjects and have train more than a thousand students in the secondary and tertiary levels. With his background and passion in the education and training industry, Ka Chong has a credible understanding of the needs of today’s youth and young adults. Ka Chong graduated with a degree in Communications from Griffith University in 1999 and also has a diploma in Burgundy Wines Training from the renowned Bureau Inter professionnel des Vins de Bourgogne.

Varsha has over 8 years of experience leading change management and people transformation efforts in multinational organizations spanning across geographies and sectors. Varsha currently heads the HR Function for the Singapore Commercial and Manufacturing Unit of a Pharmaceutical firm and Global Leader in Generics. 

Varsha has been teaching and tutoring Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Diploma level students. Her teaching areas include Business Administration, Mathematics and French Language. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore and a MBA with specialisation in Human Resource Management from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. She has also contributed to research work and co-authored a research article along with NUS Department Associate Professors which was well received and published in the Information and Management Journal. 

Varsha is passionate about bringing real life industrial experience to the classroom to enrich her students’ learning experience.

Elson Peh has over 30 years of professional management experience across Asia including Singapore, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. He is an experienced lecturer in delivering business  courses including MBA programmes for UK and Australia universities.

Elson Peh holds a Master of Science in International Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, UK. He is also a qualified trainer certified by Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).

He has over 20 years of training and lecturing experience at the professional, post graduate and doctoral level. Dr Lim also undertook the design and development of professional courseware in close consultation with industry practitioners and is involved in recruitment, interview and recommendation of IT professionals for MNC clients.

Dr Lim has also participated as a researcher, workgroup member and editor of the following 2 national standards on BCM, namely, Singapore Standard for Business continuity/disaster recovery (BC/DR) service provider spearheaded by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, and the Business Continuity Management for Manufacturing, Innovation and Services spearheaded by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF).

Dr Lim holds a PhD from University of South Australia, Master of Business (Information Technology) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology & Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from National University of Singapore (NUS)

He has more than 20 years of experience in management consultancy, corporate restructuring, merger and acquisition experiences in Asia. He is currently a managing partner in a consulting firm and have held senior positions in MNCs as APAC VP for global companies like DHL, Ryder, Toll Global Logistics. Dr Henry is also a certified DMAIC practitioner and ISO auditor. He was also featured in Korea Daily MAIEL providing advisory on investment in South East Asia as well as a guest speaker on Merger and Acquisition in Myanmar.

Dr Henry Wong holds Doctorate Degree from the University of Southern Queensland and has a First-Class Honours Degree from Curtin University.

Xiaoqi is a Singapore Chartered Accountant who has worked with the Big Fours in auditing as well as financial accounting with public-listed firms. She specialises in corporate training for Financial Accounting and Auditing modules and teaches professional qualification programmes like ACCA, Singapore C.A. and under/postgraduate degrees. Xiaoqi’s knack for translating complex concepts into simpler and easily comprehensible terms has made her popular among her learners. Her passion and dedication in education has also led her to pursue her Doctorate in Education (EdD).

Daniel, who specializes in Accountancy and Finance subjects, have been teaching and tutoring postgraduate to diploma programmes since 1994. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Manchester. He is also a certified public accountant and a Fellow of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has over 30 years of experience in his chosen field and is well respected and liked among the students he has taught.

Sivapriya has more than 8 years of experience in IT subjects and around 8 years as a software application developer with Microsoft certification (MCAD). Sivapriya holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications with distinction (University of Madras) and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics (University of Madras).

Sivapriya specialises in Software Engineering, Web and Windows application development technologies, C, C++, Data structure, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Java programming, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PHP, and Mathematics.
