Andrew Chiew is Academic Dean and Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager for Educare Global Academy. He has an MBA in International Business from University Putra Malaysia. He also graduated with Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning and Teaching (SDALT). He has 18 years extensive management and teaching experience in higher education in Singapore and Malaysia and has taught on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He teaches finance and research modules on the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management.
Shoba D/O Krishnan, BA
Lecturer/ Academic Coordinator
Shoba is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Singapore University of Social Science. She has also attained a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA). Her extensive service experience with Singapore Airlines previously has allowed her to converse, engage and work with people from all around the world. Given her current position, Shoba is now a lecturer in Educare Global Academy and she teaches students across all levels. Various modules include Research & Study Skills, Fundamentals of Hospitality Operations from the Foundation level, Academic Business English from the Diploma level, and Organizational Behaviour from the Advanced Diploma level. Having a wide range of professional experiences and graduating from different educational backgrounds, Shoba is always willing to share her knowledge and skills with anyone!
Tan Hiang Kang (Joel), MBA
Adjunct Lecturer
Joel is a teacher and a member of the Academic Board for Educare Global Academy. He is an MBA graduate from the University of Hull and B.Sc. (Hons) graduate from the Birmingham City University. He also has two graduate Diplomas in Marketing Management and Financial Management; as well as an Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment. He has extensive working experience in China, South East Asia, and Taiwan. His teaching experiences cover many hospitality and management subjects at both Degree and Diploma level.
Lam Ka Chong,

Ka Chong is a highly experienced lecturer and specialises in the teaching of food and drink subjects. He graduated from Griffith University with BA of Communication in 2000 and also holds PG Cert in Learning and Teaching from East Asia institute of Management. Ka Chong has various work experience within the Food and Drinks industry in Singapore.
Norizan bin Aziz, Executive MBA
Adjunct Lecturer
He fills all the intrinsic, ramps up the internal structures and the contents for major projects. Norizan has “been there, done that” in the hospitality sector. He had been in charge of recruitment, management and training development of talent for various luxury hotels around the world. In Fairmont Hotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia, he went on to establish a HR department managing a staff strength of 3000 employees. Norizan is also a certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner. He is currently an Adjunct Lecturer at various institutes of higher learning (Hospitality and Business modules) in Singapore, and consults for clients pertaining to hospitality and customer service. His academic qualifications are backed by Executive MBA certification from Switzerland in International Marketing and Post Graduate certification in Higher Education from Cardiff Metropolitan University. In order to further his knowledge in education industry, he went on further to gain Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), as well as the Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning and Teaching (SDALT).
